Reviews
Jojo's has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in FM. One of the only restaurants in FM that offers a Sicilian style pizza. I've had all of their options and they are phenomenal; white sauce sausage is by far the best. The staff is also very good. Fairly certain we've had Jacob as our waiter 90% of the times we've been there and he is great. He's great at offering up extras or customizations to our orders and definitely keeps tabs on us to ensure we have everything we need. Will continue to come back as long as they'll have us. Focaccia is dynamite, btw.
This place is great. We rolled into town at 9 after an 11 hour drive and they were not only serving dinner they were serving it with a smile and friendly conversation. I couldn't decide on what I wanted for dinner and went with the orchiaetta pasta with sausage and broccolini. It was good, but not great - the herbed ricotta almost added a little too much to do the dish and made it a little heavy. Luckily I could walk to our hotel from here and walk it off a bit! My girls shared the focaccia with sauces and our amazing waitress brought them more breadsticks when they demolished the first round of bread. My son's simple pepperoni pizza stole the show for me - that crust is awesome. Buttery and garlicky and just awesome. My husband had the spaghetti and bison meatballs and absolutely demolished it. So there it is - food is good, service was crazy friendly, and the icing on the cake was the bathroom filled with little touches like a changing table with a basket of diapers and a little basket of tampons. A great way to end our day and if I'm ever in Fargo again I'll be back.
The first thing I have to say is that the food is FANTASTIC! We came to the restaurant on Mother's Day evening for supper - a notoriously busy time in restaurants. The food was perfect and we were a party of 7. We started with the fried artichokes and cheese bread, both were heavenly. The artichokes were tender and tasty - I could not stop eating them. I had the papardelle Bolognese for my entree and I have never tasted better Bolognese in this area. There was SO much flavor. The pasta was perfection - perfectly silky and not overcooked. The second, and most important part of my review, is that the service was incredible. The restaurant was short staffed (per usual these days) but the only thing that made it apparent was the lack of servers walking around. Our dining experience was not affected by the staffing issue one bit. Our server, Jake, was calm, present, and friendly. We got our food within a reasonable time, and the entire restaurant crew worked together to give us a memorable time. I would give this place 100 stars if I could. If you are looking for a family-friendly Italian restaurant with incredible food - this is the place for you.
Very little not to like. Ambiance is nice--modern yet casual enough to bring the kids. Wide selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Pretty traditional Italian menu with plenty of variety. Focaccia bread was delicious and the best deal on the menu. Italian sausage sandwich was simple yet satisfying. Parmersan fries were good (interesting shape). We got one of the white pizzas as well--it was good (though a bit rich for my personal tastes). Unfortunately we didn't have room for desert and ended up taking the pizza home (two could easily share the pizza as an entree). Our waitress was very friendly (one of the best servers I have had in a while at any restaurant. It was sad to see that the place wasn't too busy on a Saturday night. I guess it will just be our secret hidden gem for now.
Bolognese was really good. My date had the Alfredo, which I finished the next day and it was pretty solid. The Butter cake though, ah, I'll be coming back for that.
